L sat up in bed, wide awake, as the digital clock turned to 12:00am. When he noticed this, he crawled out of the bed he shared with Light, and headed for the door.
Light, however, had just drifted off to sleep, when he awoke to the sound of jingling chains, and a slight tugging sensation on his left wrist. He forced himself from his slumber, and sat up to see what was going on. He saw L scurrying across the room. "Ryuzaki, what the hell are you doing? Go back to bed," he insisted, and L shook his head. "No way, Light-kun. Today is Friday the 13th, and I never sleep on Friday the 13th. Can't we just pull an all-nighter?" L asked, and Light sighed irritably. "We just pulled three all-nighters in a row, and I want sleep. There's no way in hell I'm staying up another night because of your stupid suspicions." Despite Light's disagreement, L continued towards the door, almost dragging Light out of bed. In response, Light jerked the chain a little. "Ryuzaki, I said I'm not going anywhere! Now come back to bed!" "But Light-kun..." Without another word, Light jerked the chain as hard as he could, causing L to tumble backwards onto the bed and into Light's lap. Light looked down at the surprised L in his lap, and smirked. He leaned over, and pressed his lips to L's, causing him to blush profusely. When the kiss was broken, they stared at each other, letting silence linger. "Um...Light-kun....what's that creepy bird doing on our headboard?" L asked after a moment, deciding to temporarily forget what just happened when he noticed a rather disturbing crow perched on his bed. "Oh, that's the Cruel Crow. It comes and craps on my head, and I use it to make breakfast in the morning," Light responded, too casually. L chose not to comment this, and merely stood up and headed for the door, unfortunately bringing his deranged lover with him. ------------------------------------------------- FWAHAHAHA!! Light/L!  For Friday the 13th, which means this is SO LATE OMG. D:And yes, that is the Cruel Crow, the mascot for Friday the 13th. It does terrible things, like kick puppies and steal candy from children. Yup. I give permission to =LxLight to post this. |
