DRIZZT IS MY HEROOOOOO~  So a few weeks ago, ~UnwantedNomad and I were assigned this author project in english as our final, so we decided to team up on it. The author she wanted to do was R.A. Salvatore, which was fine by me, but there was a problem: I had never read anything of his. O_O So, she comes to school a week before the project is due, with a MASSIVE book, and drops it on my desk. I look at it, frightened. "I have to read THAT in a WEEK???" I ask. (not the biggest reader, tis why I was concerned) "No, it's 3 books in one. Just read the first one, and you should be good." She replies, and shows me where the first one ends. I inspect it; little over 200 pages, large text, I figured I could do it. She then explained to me that the beginning might be kinda hard to get into, with all the character intros n stuff, so I was a little worried. Fortunately for me, I consumed that thing LIKE THE WIND. It was SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD. (t'was Homeland, btw). Of course, me being horrible at keeping up with my reading, it took me till Saturday evening to finish reading the bloody thing (so many distractions!), and she wound up staying the ENTIRE 3-day weekend at my house to finish the project. XD So, my point in this, I LOVE DRIZZT. Not like, mary-sue love him, but he's SOOO COOOL~! X3 If you haven't read the Legend of Drizzt series, READ THEM. OMG. (if you're into fantasy, that is).
