First off: HAPPY '06 EVERYONE!! X3

Okie, these are the 3 main characters to the manga me n my friends thought up over summer, "The Escort". I plan on starting the manga today, after I post this, but you wont see it for maybe another month cuz Im gonna post it in chapters... So anyway, THE PLOT!!
Plot: The queen of the kingdom of Monthasia has recently passed away, leaving her husband, the king, and her daughter the princess, alone to rule the large kingdom themselves, right in the middle of a 13-year-long war with the neighboring country of Perion. The king decides to send his daughter to Perion to ask for peace, stopping the war, and marry the kingdom's prince. However, she must disguise herself as a commoner and travel there on foot, with an escort of course, to avoid being captured. She detests the idea, but agrees to take the mission in order to keep her grieving father happy. The journey is a long one she must embark on, and her mysterious escort isn't of much company. However, things seem to lighten up when a childhood friend of the escort's joins the team.
Besides the war between Monthasia and Perion [for land], there are also two other active wars going on: the war between Users and non-Users for respect and equal rights [Users are people born with elemental powers of water, fire, wind or earth, and the color of their hair determines this], and the last war is a mystery....READ ON!

Characters (in the pic at least)
Asuri- age 19, Princess of Monthasia. Asuri is sweet-acting around her father and in the castle to the servants, but you see her spoiled, arrogant, short-tempered side when she starts her journey. She is only like this to her escort and his friend because her escort is rude and hardly speaks to her, and his friend is a flirty pervert sometimes. She learns to get along with them, even to like them as company, eventually. And shes not as much of a bitch as i may make her sound.... shes really nice!
Hiro- age 28, mercenary and Asuri's escort. Hiro is very quiet, mysterious and rather rude at times. he likes to stop at every bar in every town they pass through on their journey to Perion. as much as he cant stand the princess sometimes, he puts his life on the line to keep her safe and get her to her destination and back. he lightens up a bit and becomes more social when his friend joins the team. he is a very mysterious character and you learn bits and peices about him along the way.
Chansu- age 26, ex-pirate. Chansu is the stereo-typical flirt that no manga is complete without. He joins the team after they make a wrong turn into the party town of Choruston. he was hiding there from his ex-pirate crew, who was searching the town for him after he stole the captain's treasure and ran away. Hiro, his long-time buddy, helps him out and eventually agrees to let him journey with them. Chansu is always flirting with some local girl in every town they pass, and flirts with Asuri when theyre on the road. Even though he sounds like nothing but a goof-off, he can be serious and fight surprisingly well with his over-sized battle axe when the time comes.

So? So? hows it sound?! good? i hope! the storys a short one (like FullMetal Alchemist for all who know how short the storyliine is compared to other serieses) so i hope to be able to actually stick with it... its my New Year's Resolution! to be honest, the most pages ive ever drawn in a comic series is 15 pages in my Teen Titans comic that i never posted..... >.>; so i really hope this goes well! and if i get a lot of fans, thatll help inspire me to work on it! ok, i hope y'all are looking forward to it!! i know i am!! NOTE THIS COMIC WILL BE IN MANGA FORMAT, BACKWARDS!!
